Beach End is self-contained accommodation on Tasmania's East Coast at Bicheno. Towels and all bed linen are supplied. You just need to bring your food. Internet and parking are free. Penguins nest under the building. Beach End has two separate apartments.
One is a spacious one-bedroom apartment for two or three people. There is a small fridge, small oven, stove and a barbecue. The second apartment has three bedrooms for seven or eight people. It has a full kitchen, fridge, washer and dryer as well as an outdoor barbecue. Both accommodations have beautiful views, overlooking blue ocean and white sandy beach. Sometimes there are sheep and lambs in the pasture.
You can walk to the beach just 300m away. See penguin footprints in the sand. The village of Bicheno provides a range of cafes and restaurants and supermarket that shuts at 1800. Buy fresh fish at the Gulch wharf.
