Details: The bedrooms are in simple, solid, country style with hefty wooden beds, yellow-washed walls, the odd green plant or original fireplace, electric blankets for winter, ceiling fans for summer and three rooms have their own small gravel courtyard and access. Bathrooms are very white with terracotta-tiled floors. This is a young, enthusiastic, family-run, newly-opened (in 2000) place to stay. Historic towns nearby; 100 metres to arts and crafts; BBQs for groups in summer.
